A 30D memory foam wedge moulded into a staircase instead of a ramp — rounded cushioned treads, and a jacket that unzips for the washing machine.

Three tiers, one gentle slope

Every nosing is rolled and cushioned rather than square, so a small paw steps up without meeting a hard lip. A flat ramp takes the jump out of the climb but eats floor space; the stepped wedge takes the jump out and stays out of the way.

The tall back face is cut to sit flush against a sofa base or the side of a bed, so the last step is already at the height of the seat.

Unzip it, wash it, zip it back

A zip runs around the base seam. Unzip it and the entire jacket slips off the foam — no wrestling, and no foam going into the machine.

The cover is machine washable and holds its shape, so the stair comes back looking the way it went in rather than bagging out at the treads.

The footprint

One shape, many colours

The underside is black, waterproofed and moulded with raised anti-skid nubs — so the stair grips a hard floor without a mat underneath. The same shape then comes in thirteen colourways, mixing solid fabrics with printed patterns, so it can sit in a room without announcing itself.
