ROADREIGN 4-Zone Silicone Slow Feeder & Lick Mat for Dogs and Cats — 20.2 cm Square Mat, 36 Suction Cups, Foldable, Grey / Blue / Green
ROADREIGN™ · Slow Feeding
Four textures.
One press of silicone.
A 20.2 × 20.2 cm square silicone mat with four moulded zones — a smooth well, a field of bone-shaped studs, wave ridges and a ring grid. Food pressed into the textures comes out a piece at a time. Thirty-six suction cups are moulded into the underside. For cats and dogs.
The problem with a flat mat
On a plain mat, dry kibble or wet food can be taken in a single mouthful, and the rest ends up pushed across the floor. Adding walls to a dish is the usual answer — but a wall can be eaten around, and once that happens the dish stops doing anything.
This mat puts the resistance into the surface instead. The face is divided into four separate textures, so there is no clean line to sweep along. Food settles into the grooves, pockets and rings and has to be worked out piece by piece.
Nothing to assemble, nothing to insert, nothing to switch on. It is one moulded piece.
The four zones
Zone 01
A shallow smooth well
A rounded rectangular recess with a plain floor — the one area with no texture at all.
Zone 02
Bone-shaped studs
A dense grid of small raised studs, each moulded in the shape of a bone.
Zone 03
Wave ridges
A framed panel of long S-curved ridges running across the zone.
Zone 04
A ring grid
A circular field of raised rounded-square rings set in a lattice, with open gaps between them.
What holds it down
36 suction cups
Moulded into the underside of the mat; the count is stated as 36 in the supplier's own artwork.
One hot-pressed piece
No seams and no joins — a raised rim runs around the whole edge of the mat.
Folds flat
Soft silicone, listed as folding without deformation or cracks.
